Cloca  is a unique program that helps you not to forget.  Cloca is an  alarm clock, a reminder tool, a Timer utility and a fantastic screen saver for your Windows computer.  You don't have to speak Latin to know it's time to toss out that boring alarm clock.   And if you don't use alarm clocks that don't tick tock us off cause Cloca will remind you of important appointments too.  You'll never forget a loved one's or friend's birthday again.   Cloca will remind you of those yearly anniversaries and even tell you it's time for that special on  television.  An infinite number of alarms can be set, hours, days or months in advance.

About Cloca: Cloca was created by Valx and includes 24 awesome Valx Art images in the clock's face and a floating thumbnail image.

Cloca Timer: What needs are there  that a good Clock program can provide?   In everyday life we're always concerned with time in some manner.  Simple examples are easy to think of, such as watering your lawn, 15 minutes then move the hose.   Or in the kitchen, boil for 7 minutes.  Doing laundry, dying your hair, 30 minutes.  How often do we forget?

Open the Timer control.  The green hand is on the hour, the blue hand on the minute.   Select one of the 3 Timer sounds. Click on the green numbers 1 to 12 to set hours.   Click a blue  number 1 to 60 to set  minutes.  Example at left shows Cloca timer set for 2 hours and 10 minutes. Real time the Hand Tip Text , the small green 6 and  blue 41.  Green hand points to 8, blue hand points to 51.    Very simple and user friendly.

Screen shot at right we see the Active light that flashes, and 14 minutes has already expired.  When hour is 8 and the minute is 41 the Timer alarm sounds continuously until the STOP button is pressed.

wpe34.jpg (14111 bytes) Hand  Tip Text: Cloca 1's three hands have a small text for the hour minute and second  that follow the hands about the face close to the tip.  This can be turned on or off, and the hands themselves can be made invisible so only the Tip text is shown.  Pretty cool   when you have Valx Art in the background, or just as neat with everything off but the Tip text and glitter. wpe33.jpg (15711 bytes)

Screen Glitter: Just for artsy decor Tiny dots appear on the screen  that  look like stars of outer space.  The Glitter is the screen saver  and  it can be toggled between 4 colors, white and a mixture of every color in the computers palette.  If the hands are visible  the second hand wipes the glitter away.  With Run Art on the floats create an interesting pattern as the glitter is erased and a black trail follows the floats.   The face images are transformed as the glitter fills in the black and mixes with the feathered edges of the art.

Hourly Chime: As long as your computer is on and Cloca is running, on screen or minimized, a bell chime or cuckooclock will sound off on the hour, one note for each hour. You can select between Chime or  Say Time or none..

Vocal Time: Say Time is a female voice that says the time, am or PM, through your computer's speaker system every half hour as long as your computer is on and Cloca is running.  In all fairness a male voice is also used in other Cloca announcements.

READ THIS!! your harddrive will last longer  if  you never shut off your computer..  We started writing voice processing software about 15 years ago for businesses in the SFCA Bay Area.  Our software answered hundreds of thousands of calls, performed voice mail   and call accounting tasks.  These computers (even one for Yahoo! Store) ran 24 /7 without fail., for years.   Cloca takes advantage of this fact.

Keyboard Time: Just cause you can, press -T- on your keyboard at any time to hear time.  Press -D- to hear date.   If Cloca is minimized and you are typing in another application turn Keyboard time off.

Alarm Sounds: when alarm is activated  it will sound off 10 times every 40 to 60 seconds depending of the alarm sound selected.   Choose anyone of 19 sound effects for your alarm.  From the moo of a Cow the whine of a Horse or a  Dog a Gong,  Drumroll or a Cheer from a crowd, it will get  your attention  just turn your speakers up loud.   How about waking up to Reville

Alarm Message Box:   when the alarm is activated by time and date, or time with -Everyday- selected, a Message box appears on screen with the -reminder- message you added when you created the alarm.    The screen becomes a light show of dancing colorful lines.  If the alarm is not turned off in the allotted time the alarm sound will cease but the Message box remains on screen with an added note, MISSED ALARM. wpe43.jpg (41842 bytes)
wpe47.jpg (83817 bytes) Run Art:  Just for fun.....a floating Valx thumbnail image moves around the screen seemingly to bounce into the second hand's tip text.  When this occurs the floating image will float about the screen in a different manner, and the float images randomly change every time  it hits the edge of the screen.  If it happens to collide again  the glitter gets bigger.   Lots of fun to watch if you're bored or if you're in deep thought about a project or task you're doing on your computer.

Run Art also displays the Image Name and Order Number under the clock's face, which you can turn off.  The images can be purchased as large gloss prints, pack of large greeting cards or a professionally made Canvas Gallery  Wrap reproduction.

Mouse Over Help Viewer: this easy to use and quick to learn artsy software needs no  manual   and has no indexed help section.  All you do to learn how is pass the mouse pointer over the captions in the Alarm Setup Window, and in the Help Viewer simple instructions are written.
