Welcome to Macro-Bite This software program was developed to bring Macrobiotics to the table of the unaware. Macro-Bite makes an honest attempt to introduce all the wonderful people who have dedicated their life and their time to Macrobiotics. There are many Macrobiotic teachers and writers and chefs and counselors who wish to help anyone onto the path of good health and a happy life. There is a vast community of enlightened souls who are eager to welcome you and invite you into the circle of wellness. Macro-Bite in its whole is a blueprint of Macrobiotics with history and recipes, with contact addresses and phone numbers to businesses, organizations and individual people. There are links to internet websites for those who have internet access. However, Macro-Bite reaches out to those with computers but may not have internet access. Macro-Bite therefore becomes the perfect gift that a person can give to a family member or to a friend. What better gift can one give? With Macro-Bite on their computer a family member or friend can try some of the recipes and learn of the different types of food and can contact all the nice people around the Macrobiotic world who want to help. Macro-Bite also includes a few tools (reminders, timers, food composition table, weight chart, shopping aids, etc.) and concepts (Chakras) that are not normally within the scope of the Macrobiotic teachings. These additions were included to give the users of Macro-Bite a way to audit their footprints as they step into and move around within the Macrobiotic world and to discover their own way. Macrobiotics is not simply another diet as one may think. It does not preach. It is not political or religious. Macrobiotics is not all about the consumption of food as many followers understand. There is a deeper beauty and freedom in the wisdom first taught by Sagen Ishizuka, the founder of Macrobiotics, and later brought into the Japanese mainstream by Yukikazu Sakaranazawa (George Ohsawa). The realization of this idea is a secret you'll soon uncover and hopefully embrace. |
